Dr Judith Dowds qualified from University of Dundee with the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. Following the successful completion of her 1 year vocational training post in West Yorkshire, she returned to her home city of Glasgow where she worked for 5 years in a long established family practice, before her move to Cambridge.

Throughout her 21 years of practice Dr Dowds has been committed to continuing professional development, attending post-graduate courses and keeping abreast of current trends in dentistry. 

​

Away from Dentistry, Dr Dowds enjoys sports, cinema and travelling. She has also combined travel with dentistry having been involved in charity work in Nepal and Romania.
